How a share works
You buy a 1/10th share, as a tenant in common, in one named yacht. We explain what that means in plain English.
Your 33 days per year
How booking works on our online roster, including weekends and holidays, plus standby days.
The costs, laid out
The share price and monthly service fee for the boat you’re interested in, what the fee covers and what’s extra, like fuel and competency training.
What we look after
Berthing, cleaning, refuelling, insurance, maintenance and the booking roster, so you can walk on and walk off.
Real boats, real owners
Yachtshare began more than 20 years ago with a single boat. Today our boats are berthed at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS), at Manly Boat Harbour in Brisbane, and looked after by our own team.

Is there any obligation?
No. Requesting the Information Pack doesn’t commit you to anything.
Which boat is the pack for?
Tell us which boat you like and we’ll send the details for that one. Not sure yet? Leave the box blank and we’ll help you choose, or look at the available shares first.
How many days would I get?
A 1/10th share gives you 33 days per year, booked on our online roster, plus standby days.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Managed berthing, maintenance, cleaning, insurance and administration, as set out in your Service and Maintenance Agreement. Competency training and fuel are extra, and the buyer pays for them.
What will you do with my details?
We use them to send your pack and follow up with you about it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
Can I see a boat first?
Yes. We can arrange a private inspection at RQYS Manly, with no obligation.
