Most owners don’t need a yacht 365 days a year. They need the right days — weekends on Moreton Bay, a winter run toward the Whitsundays, time with family and friends — without the cost, berthing and maintenance of sole ownership. Yachtshare turns that into a clear answer: buy a genuine share, Step On Board when it suits you, and leave the rest to us.
Genuine ownership. Not a club membership.
Yachtshare is a syndicate programme. You purchase a legal share as a tenant in common — true equity in a premium vessel dedicated to private recreational use. This is not a timeshare and not a charter. Your yacht is permanently berthed at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly, managed by our team, and reserved for syndicate owners only.
Smarter ownership — not just cheaper boating
Purchase, berthing, insurance, maintenance and administration are shared across the syndicate. A typical Yachtshare Ten (1/10th) share gives you around 33 reserved days each year, plus Standby Days when the boat is free — so you enjoy a luxury yacht at a fraction of sole-ownership cost, with the prestige and asset upside of real ownership. It is smarter use of capital for people who value time on the water over managing a marina berth.
Walk-on, walk-off
Arrive ready to cast off. Your yacht is prepared turnkey: cleaned, fuelled and ready. When you return to RQYS Manly, secure the vessel, take your gear, and go. Our service team handles cleaning, refuelling and consumables the next morning. You skip the chores that usually come with owning a boat.
Your days, your adventures
Book one-to-seven-day blocks through the online roster, designed for fair access across the year — including weekends. Unreserved Standby Days can be booked from 9:00 am the day prior without using your quota. Sail Moreton Bay year-round, or join winter excursions toward the Great Barrier Reef on your yacht — not a hire boat.
A community worth belonging to
